What’s in a name..?

I’ve been trying to think of a name for the story about Rin and Lian for some time now and I had little (if any!) luck with that.
I bet Lian knows it! Cause it haven’t been easier to choose a name than to write a bio for this stubborn mer! I’m almost sure it’s no accident…

Coming up with titles is the bane of my creative existence. Elspeth’s Epic Disaster just sort of became the name of the story because I kept calling it an epic disaster. I was over-the-moon excited when I came up with a title for my Dawnguard story that actually sounds like a title (Under the Purple Sky). That’s a lyric from a song (2000 Miles by The Pretenders). Honestly, song lyrics are pretty much my go to place for finding titles.

Well, without knowing what your story is about exactly I can’t give an accurate title but off the top of my head I have: “It’s a Kind of Magic”, “Who Wants to Live Forever”, “Too Much Love Will Kill”, all taken from Queen albums; “Sorcerer and the Nightblade”, kind of like “Fox and the Hound”. “From the Darkness”, “Magic From the Shadows”, “Magic In the Shadows”, “Hidden Blade, Mystic Sorcery”, “Mystic Infatuation”, “Hex Appeal”, “Dark Times of Summerset”, “A Blade by Moonlight”, “Arrow in the Sun”, “Dance of the Nightblade”, “Silence of the Night”, “Rune Art”, “Taboo Knowledge”, “Assassins Blade and a Wizards Words”, “Arrows are Forever”, “Spells Hurt, Blades Kill”, I can come up with more but that is just off the top of my head. Hope it helps or inspires. =)
